Fresh squeezed juices from organically grown fruits and vegetables can be a wonderful way for restoring and maintaining health. One can do this at home with a juicer or you can hire it out.
We do both. At home, we have a champion juicer.
This is an older, efficient juicer. Unfortunately, I don’t believe they manufacture them anymore. There are a multitude of options out there that vary with efficiency and price point.
Another option is to hire it out. With a little investigation, one can frequently locate people locally who juice, and can put together a juice cleanse package for you. Another option we came across was a recent package we ordered from Costco.
For $90, we got organically grown, cold pressed juice mailed to us from the Costco website.
In the past, we have done exclusive juicing for three or four days. This time, we just chose to incorporate fresh squeezed juices into our normal healthy diet. Easy.
To be honest, it might be hard to replicate juicing all this at this price. We enjoyed the combinations of juice that were sent and felt it was a good bargain.
Fresh squeezed, organic juices are beneficial for many reasons. The vitamin and mineral content on organically grown fruits and vegetables has scientifically been proven to be higher. Also, with fresh, squeezed juices one gets enzymes which aid in digestion and assimilation, which you’re not getting with commercial pasteurized juices.
Juices are predigested and easily assimilated. They are alkalizing and healing. It is possible to just consume juice for an extended period of time. I had a patient who once did 83 days of just fresh squeezed juices. I had him take a picture of his irises after the fact, and we saw definite signs of what are called calcium luteum lines which are indicative of healing, and re-knitting of the body back together again.
I find we feel clean, refreshed and invigorated when drinking quality fresh squeezed juices.
Dr. Jensen, chiropractor and nutritionist, used to cure women of breast cancer by putting them on extended carrot juice fasts. This is not a technique you will hear about from Allopathic medicine as they focus on drugs and surgery, and not natural healing.
Healing and wellness can be in our hands, and this is one more technique to be utilized to put the balance in your favor.
